One down. two to go…

I am home from my appointment this morning.  I have another early appointment with my primary care physician tomorrow morning.  Then another doctor appointment on Friday.   October so far is free and then November socks it to me.

I had calls to make this morning to my insurance company.  I received a letter from them stating that since I lost my beloved Dr. Dreyer to Florida that I had to reset my PCP and state who my new nephrologist will be to make sure he was on their provider list.  Next was calling my new doctor’s nurse to make sure that my new doctor would submit new  prescriptions to the pharmacy for me.  And now I have a headache!!

If you click on this link you will see that he has one rating since he moved to Florida and it is my rating.

It is beautiful here this morning.  The sun is shining and it is 51 degrees to reach the mid 70s by afternoon.  I love this kind of weather.  I hope the sun is shining wherever you are.

Stay safe and be happy!!

Beth

  4. We are having another totally beautiful day. Not as cool as you. Got into mid 50's in the night, and will tour to the 70's today. The humidity is low..just perfect. I was calling MY insurance co to ask where to get the silly flu shot and all she came up with were drugstores. I said my Dr. office does it every year, how about there and she said she didn't have "medical training so I don't know". What??

  14. Now that you might be finished jumping through insurance hoops you should be feeling that you have really accomplished something - and you sure have. One step further down the road you are traveling with such grace. I admire you.

Health Insurance down here in Tasmania, Australia is easy, thank goodness, well it's easy when you understand it :) as far as I am aware I do know what I/we can claim on etc. The Insurance is probably very different from yours.

  27. I am sorry that you have to switch Doctors in mid-stream, Beth. As if it isn't hard enough to deal with what you are going through you have to find a new doctor and hope he is good-and that you like him.
I read the one review- excellent! xo Diana

  28. All the little details can get overwhelming! No wonder you had a headache. Sometimes I get one just thinking about picking up the phone. Hang in there. May your new doctor be every bit as good as your former one.
